Synopsis:
Bruce Wayne is approached by Marla Manning, a reporter who has received death threats following the publication of an article concerning the death of Tom Sloane. Bruce checks the Wayne Foundation files and discovers that the statement made by Sloane's sister is missing. He investigates as Batman and ties the murder to a demolition company owner Zachary Nova.
To catch Nova, Batman asks Manning to write another article. She receives another message. This time it is to receive evidence in a phone booth. Batman takes her place and hears a recorded message of Nova's confession just before the phone booth explodes. However, Batman anticipated the trap and was not inside when the bomb detonated. He then apprehends Nova and uses the confession as evidence of the murder.
