This story continues in Justice League America #43.

Synopsis:
Having one the special weapons from a group of super-villains, Wally Tortolini returns home. Several men in suits follow him. They want his notebook which contains information about the Justice League. When they try to get it, Wally uses his new devices which creates carnage in the streets.

The super-villains hear about the damage and rush to the scene. They take back their weapons. When the JLA arrives, the villains are blamed for the destruction. The villains are caught. Wally is not blamed for the damage. He gives his notebook to J'onn to prevent any further trouble.
