Synopsis:
After deactivating the Computer Tyrants of Colu, Vril Dox and his associates return to the planet surface where they find a world plunged into chaos. Garryn Bek objects to Dox's methods and leaves. Lyrissa Mallor joins him. They reach the spaceport and depart from Colu. When their ship strikes a space dolphin and kills it, Mallor orders that Bek turn the ship around and return to Colu.
Meanwhile, unknown to Dox, the Computer Tyrants were able to transmit their consciousness to a synthetic humanoid form. Once the body reaches full power, it heads back to Colu to deal with Dox who is in the process of permanently destroying the central core. When the Tyrants arrive, a fight ensues. Mallor and Bek return in time to help. When the bomb Dox set to destroy the core detonates, the Tyrants realize they are now trapped in an unwelcome form. They break off the attack and head into space.
Mallor then explains to Dox that the space dolphin they hit was protected by Lobo, an interplanetary assassin. Lobo, having found the dead dolphin, makes his way toward Colu in search of revenge.
