This story takes place in late June, 1947. It is continued in part from Action Comics Weekly #622 and continues in Action Comics Weekly #629.
Synopsis:
Following their escape from Sumatra, Steve Claiborne attempts to recruit Blackhawk for the newly formed CIA. Blackhawk refuses the offer. He is then forced to make a sudden landing after it is discovered that Marcia was critically wounded during their exit. She is taken to a hospital, but it is too late to save her life.
Back at Blackhawk Airways, Natalie Reed wonders what to do about her son Jimmy, who has been living with her sister in the United States.
