This story is continued from Batman #452 and continues in Batman #454.

Synopsis:
While investigating the Gotham Cemetery, Batman is attacked by zombies. Most are robots, but one of them is actually a member of the Riddler's gang. When Batman escapes, the Riddler kills his henchman. Batman then continues his pursuit of the Riddler, who has become more bloodthirsty. When it appears that the Riddler is cornered, he threatens the life of a baby. Batman is forced to let the villain escape in order to save the baby by performing an emergency tracheotomy.
