The Earth-1 Legion of Super-Heroes do not appear in this story. It takes place on a parallel Earth.
Synopsis:
After witnessing a star go nova, Superboy returns to Earth. The Legion of Super-Heroes arrive from the 30th century on a visit. The Legion then attempts to expose Superboy's secret identity.
The Boy of Steel realizes that there are subtle differences between this Earth and his own. Smallville is spelled incorrectly, and the Legion did not salute the Legion flag. He deduces that the nova sent him to a parallel Earth.
Superboy contacts his counterpart on this Earth to protect his secret identity. Then he captures the evil Legion and delivers them to the 30th century police. Finally, he returns to his own Earth.
