Wildcat, Atom, and the Guardian all relate their origins to the group and find a common connection. They were eached trained by the same man, Joe Morgan, known to the Guardian as Nat Milligan.
The group of All-Star’s splits into teams to find Morgan. Each group finds a glowing version of Morgan and defeats him. When the three are brought together, they form a giant Morgan who attacks.
Eventually the heroes defeat Morgan, who has been possessed by a white globe of pure evil. It was intent on attacking Green Lantern, but Morgan resisted it. Morgan dies, and GL sends the globe into space. Unknown to GL, the globe was sent to Earth-2 by the Guardians of the Universe and contains the evil expelled from their very beings.
