Synopsis:
A strange building materializes in the middle of a city. The Challengers investigate and try to destroy the building with a bomb. The Challs get trapped inside when the bomb explodes. They survive, but Rocky is injured. Nothing is left of the building.
Rocky later announces that he is leaving the team. The injury he sustained causes him dizziness and pain. The other Challs try to convince him to stay, but they are called away to deal with another menace, the Quadruple Man.
Like the strange building, the Quadruple Man appears from nowhere. The Challs are helpless to stop it, but it eventually dematerializes on its own.
Following the battle the Challs learn that a sliver of metal in Rocky's skull is responsible for his condition. The effects increase when the strange objects appear. Rocky agrees to track down the source of the objects by becoming a living tracking device.
The Challs find the lab of Dr. Burke, the man responsible for the strange objects. A machine that amplifies Burke's thoughts creates them. Burke has died from the strain the machine places on his brain. The Challs shut down the machne and defeat its final creation. Rocky then recovers and rejoins the team.
