Bladd also decides to eliminate Alan Scott. He sends men to kill Scott, but they are defeated by Green Lantern. GL and Doiby investigate and learn about the pirates. They sneak aboard Pike's ship and rescue him when Bladd orders the tycoon killed. GL and Doiby then finish off the crooks.
