This story, which takes place on June 16-17, 1948, is continued from Blackhawk #5 and continues in Blackhawk #7.
Synopsis:
Blackhawk and Chuck try to escape from Manchuria while evading the Chinese military. Their contacts Sayres and Francken lead them through some caves to a captured aircraft. While they ready the plane for takeoff, McKay escapes and tries to kill them. Blackhawk is able to kill him and escape with Chuck in the plane.
Back at home, Andre and Olaf witness Blackhawk Airways being dismantled. They try to stop the crew and are arrested. Hardesty then blackmails them into taking an assignment at a proving ground in the Mojave Desert where they are tasked to find a security breach.
In Washington, Natalie Reed continues to evade the authorities. Grover Baines assists her.
