Garn, a caveboy, and Akkuru, his giant enemy, are frozen in suspended animation by a prehistoric glacier, and revive in modern times. When Akkuru menaces the town of Smedleyville where Garn has become a student at the local high school, the townspeople believe Garn responsible for the giant's rampages. Garn's girlfriend, Penny Randall, calls in the Teen Titans, who team up with Garn to defeat Akkuru, and Garn is vindicated.
