This story is continued from Green Lantern Corps #212.
Synopsis:
Star Sapphire and Hector Hammond believe they have killed Hal Jordan. They retrieve Arisia who had been brainwashed. Sapphire makes the girl her slave. However, Hal had suspected trouble and charged his power ring without the villains' knowledge. He tries to rescue Arisia, but falls under the combined power of Sapphire and Hammond. When the villains begin to squabble, Sapphire releases Arisia aids her former captor to defeat Hammond. Sapphire then intends to make Arisia her thrall once more, but the female GL outwits her. She then frees Hal from the villains' control.
Back on Earth, Kilowog tries to halt a conflict in Nicaragua. While observing Ub'x's evolution experiments in Africa, Ch'p witnesses Salakk vanish suddenly. His ring tells him that the alien GL was transported into the future. Ch'p intends to follow.
